Sansepolcro: medieval village, birthplace of the great painter Piero della Francesca. It is one of the most important towns in Val Tiberina area.
Inside the walls, it is possible to admire Piazza Torre di Berta, Palazzo Pichi, the cathedral with The Ascension of Pietro Perugino, and the Civic Museum which houses the great works of Piero della Francesca (The Resurrection and Saint Julian).
Montone: charming medieval village dating back to the tenth century. Montone is perched on the highest hill where the rivers Tiber and Carpina flow into one another. Enjoy truffle tasting and visit the wine cooperative. Then visit Città di Castello, where you can cherish Palazzo Podestà, Piazzale Fonti and Torrione San Giacomo.
